Bath & Stonehenge

A visit to the elegant spa town of Bath, redolent of the world of Jane Austen, can provide a memorable addition to a trip to The Cotswolds area.

There are Georgian squares and terraces, The Abbey, an 18th century theatre and varied architecture including the unique bridge and riverside setting to explore above ground, whilst below ground Bath’s sophisticated Roman Baths still exist and are definitely worthy of a visit.

Along with the Cotswolds, it is also possible to combine a longer trip to Bath with a visit to the best known prehistoric monument in Europe – Stonehenge and then heading back towards London,  a tour of the oldest and largest occupied Castle in the world and The Queen’s favourite weekend retreat – Windsor Castle, could also be experienced.
